History
Aglow began in New Zealand in 1974, the first fellowship being formed in Blenheim. It provided a place where women could meet without denominational 'tags', in a pleasant and welcoming environment to worship together and hear teaching and testimony from a variety of speakers.
We aim to introduce women to Jesus Christ, by sharing the whole gospel of Jesus and to meet the needs of the whole person.
New Zealand was the second country after America, where the movement began on Saturday May 27 1967, to start Aglow. There are currently 57 fellowships in this country.
When you attend a local Aglow fellowship you become part of a network of caring women in fellowships world-wide.
